Thanks for the nice reviews too! I'm glad my story went over so well
with everyone, especially you the creator! Yes, alcohol would have
influenced their judgement, even if they were only buzzed and not stone
drunk. I also figured that Val would (as suggested in the story)
punish Lori and the others for their "surprise" by severe tongue-
lashing, which can be more devastating than the harshest clobbering.
