Except the word wasn't "ported" from German... English, being a
Germanic tongue, developed from the same origins... It inherited its
vocabulary as the languages changed, so "mangling" isn't the proper
term either... English didn't start mugging other languages for
vocabulary until recent times, after the injection of French it got
from the Norman Invasion... Fuck is merely the chosen expression in
Old English, rather than the way the root word is expressed in German...
