Have you ever seriously considered registering your work with the copyright
office (Up to 250 pieces for $30 in a portfolio, with additions made for
free afterwards), finding an IP lawyer willing to work on consignment, and
suing the pants off the posters? Might be a good way to pay for your
doctor's bills as well as take a few evil folks out of the problem category
at the same time.
I know a local non-furry artist who specifically made some furry art JUST
for the purpose of having it be stolen and suing. They are retired at 27
from this income, and have enough in the bank to last the rest of their life.
