Human Jim has been stuck with the Terrible Trio just for
comedy purposes and exist in a 'time loop' style universe
where no one ages, etc. Just for laughs.

Porcupine Jim was legal guardian for the girls when there
mother (Val) had to go interstate for a while. The girls
now live with their mother again for most story plots.
