thanks for the update. Man I hope it all clears up and he can see perfectly again. Jim seems like a nice guy and I hate to see nice people suffer like this! My best to Jim and hope it all works out for him.

Well, Jim seems to be recovering okay. He does have an air bubble in
the eye, tho, so he has to keep his head down for a bit. The docs
didn't hafta use the gas bubble on him, but I guess an air bubble
developed while they were working on him. So anyway, he won't be
online or anything until he can look up again.
He says the doc reattached a part of his retina that was buckled.
ewww. But he says he still can't see from a section of that eye, so
that might not be entirely fixable.
Okay, just thought I'd letcha know what's going on so far. C-Ya L8r!
