Well, Jim seems to be recovering okay. He does have an air bubble in
the eye, tho, so he has to keep his head down for a bit. The docs
didn't hafta use the gas bubble on him, but I guess an air bubble
developed while they were working on him. So anyway, he won't be
online or anything until he can look up again.
He says the doc reattached a part of his retina that was buckled.
ewww. But he says he still can't see from a section of that eye, so
that might not be entirely fixable.

Well, I had a question to see of you or Jim or maybe any one else knows if
they can repair an eye...
A friend of mine had rubbing alcohol accidently spill and some of it got in
one of his eyes, which it then burn deep into. So it's not just surface
damage.
I'm asking for my friend since he refuses to. In fact he really would rather
suffer with the eye condition than have it repaired...
He's even said that if the smoking that he used to do ended up giving him
lung cancer he'd want them to just kill him then and there than suffer.
I think he just doesn't trust being treated for such things a little too
much...
