Don't you hate it when RL tries to keep you down? I'm sure
Jim's more than understanding of those hassles! But I'm
not gone, just delayed, again...

The Cookie Cutter syndrome to use a Shawntae Howard term.
Yes, a lot of people figure out a body shape that 'works
for them', then drawing everything pretty much the same.
Hopefully it is only a phase they pass through! :-/

Anime itself is not bad, but I think you dislike it the
same way I am 'against' digital art. Lots of people turn
out very poor quality of it, since it is 'easy to do', then
get excessively excited about what is really a pretty poor
job. After not long of having inferior product flung at
you as though it were the greatest thing ever, you tend to
become jaded and label the whole associated bunch as
'crap'.
Can also be the person who has a preference for that art
style may follow a certain thining pattern that tends to
result in 'similar ideas', hence much feels unoriginal.
DarkOwl made this comment when assessing Flash animation
projects submitted in his university class; many of the
students just could not come up with original ideas!

Does 'bitchy' mind being felt up? :-P

Nice expletive! Have to store that one for later recall...

Sorry to say the world's going that way, not just the
fandom, internet or other isolated incident. As long as
people are too busy looking out for themselves and not
everyone else, this sort of attitude just won't go away. I
forget who said it, but "The biggest problem with Communism
is people..." - too true, seems like a good idea, but if
everyone isn't looking out for everyone else, it just won't
work. Hence here we are!

Though being in Florida, isn't it more likely _you'll_ be
run over by some old lady (probably in a Cadillac)?

Good to hear from you Des, even if you are in 'mini-rant'
mode.
Scrapper, Black Dragon, what, me rant? Not often... :-P
