Jim has been talking about returning to self-publishing to
avoid hassles with quality and publishers objecting to
material content, etc. The fanzine South Fur Lands
(http://www.furry.org.au/sfl/) is self-published, so this
is quite do-able, it just takes a few dollars to get set up
with a decent printer and the consumables (Jim's special
paper and toner, etc).

Scrapper, Black Dragon, who has had work published in SFL.
