After having read several of the posts regarding this, please
allow me to point something out, and I am not ridiculing anyone.
Let's get that straight first. This is not an argument about anyone
in specific, but rather, a certain practice which seems to occur
frequently in the fandom.

1)Roleplaying is fun, I'm sure, but there's a time and a place for
such an activity. Personally, I don't RP, and I never have. I am
who I am, and that's all there is to it. If someone makes an insult
directed at me personally, I'm not going to make comments about
getting some imaginary weapons I saw on a video game or somesuch. I
am not going to gather a bunch of other likeminded individuals
together, so we can all march into some imaginary enemy location,
and threaten to shoot them or use fancy ninja swords or whatever.
That's just not realistic, and it will only make the "enemy" laugh
and add more fodder to his list of reasons to hate furry stuff.

Likewise, going after someone who wrote an article in a wide-
spread magazine, someone who doesn't even know you exist, is
absolute folly, not to mention possibly illegal (based upon your
method of retribution).

So I'll sum this up to keep it short, though unfortunately also
harsh: Get a firm grip on reality and realize that you are not that
muscle-bound Rambo look-alike in the video game you played last
night. None of us are. We're just regular folks, some of whom may
have certain fetishes deemed "unusual" by the majority of society.
And that's all there is to it.
