I also agree with what Shujin Tribble wrote. I can't believe this is happening--and all over some idiots at a couple of sites that I never heard of before. I have to wonder if Des has been considering quitting for a while, and the recent controversy was the last straw.
Anyway: Des, you're one of the best artists in (or out) of the fandom, and if you choose to quit, I'm one of many people who will miss you art and your wit. Don't let the bastards get you down! If you enjoy drawing, it's not worth losing an activity you love just because of some morons on the internet. As for revealing your true identity: It's a big step, but if you feel it's appropriate, and you're willing to deal with the consequences, then go ahead.
