Well, it's true that normal is a state of mind, but most likely that there would be people opposed to this idea.

In my world, though, there are still some furries who act like their ancestors and hunt down others as food.

Heh, I guess that's good. In my furry world there are sentient cows and pigs, but there are the animal versions as well. The furries of the world call the animals "ancients" since they're the ancestors of them.

To make everyone happy in the world it was agreed to eat only plants, fish (which are non-sentient in the world), or as the Chinese sometimes do... eat insects.

Other than that, they can eat the soy subsitutes or thanks to their high technology, genetically grown meats. This way there's no problems about one species' ancestors being eatten and what not.

Here's a thought for you, what if meat was from 'people' (furries) who'd died? Kinda like donating your body to science, you could will your body onto the meat market, which could really take care of any tax issues since meat'd be a luxury in that setting.

Definitely be a weird world, but what's normal?
