Take that as a sign that you want to improve. This is a
good thing, for it means you are more likely to be open to
accepting assistance. Those who think they are 'on top of
the game' are frequently those who need more help and will
not accept it.

There are a few good links worth following in the link
section. I review them from time-to-time to make sure
there is no spam and they still work.

Jim is quite a good writer, in addition to artist. I have
a suspicion that many of use start out writing, then move
onto drawing; I am aware of a few artist (myself included)
who have done this. It helps with picture composition too,
as we are more aware of 'story content'.

It's good you've found inspiration. It was Jim who really
got me into drawing. On the fan-art page hosted on his
site, is my first picture that I drew once I decided to try
and learn to draw. It is terrible by my current standards
(we won't use JMH as a reference - that makes my curent
standard look terrible!), but we all have to start
somewhere. You've got to produce lots of crap art before
you start producing good art. And Jim inspired me to take
that first step - I'm very pleased he did, for because of
it I have meant many other people with similar interests.

It can be very reassuring seeing that you are not the first
or only person to have had an issue and sharing the wisdom
of someone more experienced can definitely make you feel
better on occasions where it all looks bleak.

Scrapper, Black Dragon, moving forward by working together.
