I lost my great-aunt to the same thing three years ago, thankfully it also let her be aware up to the end. I'm glad she got to go surrounded with love, and letting them know she loved them to the last second. I hope the support from everyone that knows them and her helps ease things a little for them.

December 25, 1956 to May 19, 2007
Charlene of the "Mousey Love Girls" (the blond one with the glasses)
died Saturday night at 10:30PM Pacific time of bone cancer.
Herb called me today with the news - she left peacefully and with her
loved ones at her side to see her off. She was fortunately enough to be
conscious at the end and was able to tell everyone goodbye seconds
before she left.
Heh, I've always got so much to say on stuff and yet now, when there's
something important, I can't really think of anything. : /
