I just realized that I've been remiss in introducing myself. Me
Thog .aka. Pete Wargo. My spouse Chandra and I are located in Santa
Fe, New Mexico. Yes, home of the Chuck Jones gallery, as well as
about a metric s**tload of other, less interesting ones.
Chan and I aren't so much furry as we just really enjoy comic art and
animation. We're also perverts of the highest order, so naturally
James's work appealed to us.
I stumbled across this group shortly after I asked myself what ever
happened to James. The last I knew was the benefit for his operation
- shortly after that, events in our lives made me lose track. James
was nice enough to drop me a letter catching me up on the highs and
the lows, and I'm glad to see that he and Des are still making
artwork that's both talented and funny. Too many people take life
(or jobs, or hobbies) too seriously.
Oh, and I have no artistic talent - none. (I can make a
supercomputer sing, but several attempts at drawing has convinced me
that I'm better off buying and supporting the works of people who
don't make chicken scratches on paper.)
It's nice to be here. Y'all seem like an interesting bunch.
