Pleasing the fans will only get you so far, so do what you want. It's more satifying. Besides, while I'm not sure I could agree with the "kinder, gentler" part, I could certainly agree with the last part - and maybe that's why we love you.

is far more rare. (Although, Des did say I should draw up a folio
just for shits and giggles, and auction off the only copy. I don't
think I can be that cruel.)
