The new style of art is being applied to the Caterwaul books (I'll
upload a sample shortly), so the snippets you are referring to are
actually about 7-8 years old, and nowhere near the quality of the
future works.
There's currently no "date" for the re-release, though I will begin
working on the stuff more intensely by October of this year. Plans
are to release the complete collection of Skunkworks comics,
including Ups & Downs, plus extra pages and three unpublished comics,
all compiled into one huge graphic novel, sometime in late 2008.
After that book comes out, you can expect Caterwaul to follow soon
after.
The Caterwaul books will be regrouped, so that each full story is
in one graphic novel. Yet, the graphic novels can be read as stand-
alones, or back-to-back, since there is continuity between them.
