haha...interesting...i always had this issue the minute homosexuality was accepted...so would every other freak in the closet soon would be because its only fair you bend the rule once u can bend it again
i dont dress up in a fursuit i wouldnt mind if i could afford one, i cosplay and rolplay...for fun...its wa i do on my time...still tho someone that is like that, (into all those stuff) should ease into the idea not jus spring in a convo hey "u have sex with your dogs & cats?" its gross and creepy to people who arent receptive to that kinda thing

"Normal" is a very narrow definition and only a very small percentage of people would fit into that mold - and by doing so - would be concidered "strange".

The whole bestiality issue is much too large to be tackled on a site like this (nor would it be very appropriate concidering this site's purpose) but leaving the morality of it aside, concider how "normal" we ourselves are compared to others.

To me, "yiffing" in a costume is much more strange an act then venting the sexual urge on an amiable sheep (assuming the person is just venting lust and is not actually "in love" with the sheep).
When I first entered this fandom, I found fursuiting itself to be excessivly strange and the idea that many suiters dress as the opposite gender (a guy in a ZigZag costume and so forth) was definatly not my idea of normal. But after so many years, I've become comfortable with it and even personally know a herm-suiter. I still don't think it's "normal" by my internal standard, but I'm comfortable with it now - it's ceased to weird me out.

I know people both online and off who very much enjoy the act of bestiality and so long as there is no harm being done to either party, I am fine with it. I'm the same with homosexuals, transexuals, and anyone else. I've found both emotional and sexual satisfaction with the gender and species of my choice, and there's no harm done. They should have the same chance. Or as my father was fond of saying: "I got mine...let them get theirs."

I say all this not because I'm trying to promote bestiality, but because I think it's terribly hypocritical to talk about the acceptance and "normality" of homosexuals and Furries, and then in the same breath condem those who practise bestiality.

All concidered, I've seen a lot more "abnormal" people in the fandom then I know who practise bestiality.
