Not this year, no. It generally takes about a year for everything
to start working the way it's supposed to, with a lower risk of
rejection and such.
Also, I don't know if I'll even be ABLE to attend cons anymore, in
general. There's usually a lot of "con crud" or germs and stuff
going around at conventions. With a reduced immune system, I don't
think it would be wise for me to take the risk of going there,
getting a cold, and then going back into the hospital because
someone's sniffles caused my transplanted organs to go into rejection
mode. Not cool. Plus, all the paperwork I have from the hospital
suggests staying away from crowds, even quite awhile after the
surgery.
So I really don't know, man. Time will tell, I reckon, as will
test results.
