Chakat Goldfur has furry artwork all over the wall of his
bedroom - some of them are very nice originals - his
housemates think it is a bit weird, but just accept that is
the way it is. Visitors - particularly prudish ones - can
find taurs in varying (including sexual) poses a bit
intimidating, but he says the few kids who have come in
(with their parents - that's what you get for being older
and having relatives with children...) are not fussed.
One of my adopted grandparents is in a wheelchair and she
says children tend to be _far_ more accepting and less
judgemental of people who are different than adults are.
Kids will ask her questions and chat where adults tend to
try and avert their eyes "Oh dear - there is an elderly
person on an electric scooter!!!"
Seems to be the values we are instilled with - welcome to
Earth, may your stay be quirky.
Something I have noticed is that our xenophobia or limit of
experience tends to affect our judgement and prejudice.
Most normals don't mind furries and many will admit to even
finding a 'fine figured fur' sexy, but taurs really tend to
mess with most people's heads. I'll admit to not been keen
on them, but not that I am used to them, they don't bother
me. Things we don't understand, we tend to fear or
persecute - probably explains why some many places with
people in them are as messed up as they are!

Goldfur has a clever picture on his bedroom door. It is a
cute little toon bunny with rather large breasts, with the
caption "Just because it is a cute little bunny doesn't
mean you won't go to hell for staring at her tits!"
Scrapper, Black Dragon, who should get working on his next
submission to South Fur Lands fanzine.
