That kind of thing bugs me too, going into someone else's country and expecting them to change to suit you instead of the other way around. I mean if someone thinks Santa saying 'Ho Ho Ho' is calling women whores they have got to be mentally disturbed since he's been saying that a lot longer than they've been contracting whore to ho. Just sickening how PC behavior has spread from the US to corrupt other countries. You know the modern version of censorship it depicts is just hunting for places like this were people enjoy things that some uptight twits would find offensive to even exist even though they never have to see it. Frankly I say to Hades with them and more power to the artists who create such wonders as the Skunk sisters and their gorgeous mother.

Political correctness has become so bad in Australia that
some kindergardens are no longer allowed to have 'Christmas
activities', many greetings cards don't say "Merry
Christmas", they say "Seasons Greetings" and Santa is no
longer allowed to say "Ho, Ho, Ho". But we are not allowed
to ask people to remove their 'religious headware' when
entering or participating at venues where this would
normally be deemed unsuitable. The 'foreigners' can tell
us how it is, but we can't tell them in our own country.
Now _that_ if really messed up.
Irrespective of my religious beliefs, Australia is a
Christian country, it is Christian holiday and has been
part of its culture for the last 200 years. I very much
believe "When in Rome, do as Romans do." I would expect
that if I went to Eygpt (predominantly Muslim), I would
respect their beliefs, whether I lived there permanently or
otherwise. The same should apply here - you fit in with
the people here - if you don't like it, feel free to leave.
People leave other countries to get away from strife -
leave the problems there - don't bring them with you! No,
we probably shouldn't go interefere with their
what-ever-system - if you want to, go back there!
Bit like joining this group - to quote Caleb "celebrating
anthropomorphic skunk vaginas" - if you don't like it, feel
free to spend time elsewhere! We are perfectly happy with
the way things are - you're welcome to bring new things to
the group, but don't change what fundamentally works!
You may have your soap box back now Pete...
