There were different "chapter" companies. Some handled homes,
others handled businesses, and some worked with architects and
designers prior to the building's construction, rather than working on
the finished results.
Val had worked briefly in the home decor area, but spent most of her
career in the business sector. She was a consultant, not a VP or
anything.

Not too much. They'll be tweaked a little bit, since some of the
Caterwaul stories tie in with the SW characters, thusly affecting
their bios.
