Holy Christ, it took me forever to backtrack and find this post (of
course, there's probably an easier way to do it, but you can't teach
an old dog new tricks as the saying goes).
I don't really know much about your characters, so it'd be hard to
estimate the skunks' reactions. Going by physical appearance along,
I'd venture to say they'd find Archae interesting (and probably ask
lots of questions too). I wouldn't image they'd try anything sexual
with Scorch, because of the size difference or sentience (is Scorch
two-legged or four-legged?). Lori might try something, though, that
nasty little--

Well, Archae is "Mr Serenity."
And 6 feet tall.
Martin Gerlach's "Jade" kept poking him with a stick, thinking he's a
fossil.
While Scorch is a quadroped, 5 feet long, 3 feet to the tips of his horns,
and has a wing span of 7 feet.
And Scorch has a temper that's as short as he is. <G>
In other words, even Lori may be outclassed in the temper department.
