For those interested in animation/illustration,
Ollie Johnston passed away Monday, age 95.
For those not familiar with the name, Ollie Johnston was
one of Disney's "Nine Old Men" who pioneered the art of
classic animation. If you've seen Snow White, Bambi, or
Robin Hood you know his work. A lot of artist credit Robin
Hood for getting them interested in drawing funny animals.
A huge talent is gone. He was the last of the "Nine". :(
Btw- If you cry during the scene where Bambi's mother is shot
you can thank/blame, Ollie.
