As you noted, this is off-topic, and only slightly of any
relevance to anyone on the group. The group is for Jim,
Des and their art and characters, along with fan art, fan
fiction and dicussion of any of such.

In general, as pointers to all members: If Jim brings up a
topic (irrespective of what it may be), then it is
permissible to discuss it; since it is his group and he is
subsequently allowed to use it as suits him. If you are
going to introduce something that is 'off topic', at least
try to tie it in to being relevant. For example, if you
had asked "Who has a dog or cat? I wonder how the Skunk
sisters would treat having a pet?" This lets people answer
the questions and have sensible conversation as opposed to
bragging they have 14 cats and four dogs.

The list being quiet does not mean we need to generate
traffic - it is okay to have nothing to say! It is not a
chat room, so please take the effort to ensure spelling,
punctuation and ideas are all working properly. If you
have less that two sentences, it generally equates to a 'me
too' post and does nothing more than waste time and use up
bandwidth.

We like to hear when you like a piece of work that is
posted, but we like it even better if you can tell us WHAT
you like about it!

Incidentally, I did used to have a cat but she passed away.
Since I am home so infrequently these days it would be
unfair to have a pet.

I think that if the girls did have a pet, they would look
after it for a few weeks, then it would probably get lumped
with Val to look after - I have this suspicion of
irresponsible streak about the sisters. Not they couldn't
look after it, more they'd be distracted by other things
and forget - minor issues like feeding, cleaning litter
trays, etc...
