Enhancing Scans/Comics with levels correction

Just wanted to point out this simple correction to readers and artists.

This works very well with scans/photos of comics, it removes colour
casts, and restores the proper contrast range of what was intended.
(can work well with digital art too in some cases).

I'll use one of the skunkworks pictures on here as an example:

'corrected'' - http://www.photodan.com.au/8bdc.jpg

How to do it?
In Photoshop go to Image menu -> Adjustments -> Levels (or press
ctrl+L), there are three eye droppers, use the most far right one and
click on the image on whatever area/colour is supposed to be white,
and use the black one on whatever part of the image is supposed to be
black.

I'm sure other programs have levels too.

Why do it?
It improves readability, especially with low-resolution comics, it
also puts some contrast back into the image and can remove colour
casts caused by the scanner, it's not necessary for skunkworks comics
as they are perfectly readable without straining your eyes.

But I've seen some black and white scanlated comics online that were
horrid to read, very little contrast, light grey line art + text,
using this pumped it back to pure black and white, load of contrast,
all of a sudden it was easy to read.

Just thought I'd share for those interested, or have found some comics
irritatingly hard to read.
