  In all honesty, I doubt very much they'd be inclined to do something
like that. Here's an excerpt from the "Population Page" from the site:

 "While not as common as in our world, there are some species who may
own pets; many are often the un-evolved equivalent of the owner (for
example, a Tabby Feline may have a pet cat, or an Amazon may have a
pet parrot. It is very rare that the owner will have a pet of a
nature other than it's own. A Collie is not likely to have a pet
mouse or iguana, for example. But it may have a dachshund)."

  Besides, all three of them work full-time at the studio. Who'd be
at home to watch/care for the pet? It's not like those three would
give up their social lives... ;P
