"Always?" Perhaps if all else is equal, yes -- but in my experience,
even if someone else writes the code for you, getting PHP tricks to *work*
requires a *slightly* higher level of web-coding savvy, which Jim has
already admitted he lacks and has neither the time nor desire to get that
deeply involved in. Plus, you're assuming his web host even *supports*
server-side code; not all of them do.
