Quite right. Anthro's would require sunscreen - not the same as humans, but certainly it would be something thrown into the purse!
What makes me laugh is 'sunbathing' pictures. Sexy anthro's lapping up the sun at the beach. What's the attraction. They're not going to get a 'tan' on the fur. All they'll do is overheat and pant themselves to death. Sand and fur is yuck - and wet fur is heavy and yuck.
Sand and wet fur would be a extra yuck. Not that RL dogs seem to care... but then, they're not worried about looking sexy for the boys!
A bedraggled anthro, with sunburnt ears, sand caked to their heavy, damp fur... torture.
