Hey all-
Just a quick message here to let you know that the "Survival of the
Fittest" portfolio will be available from Second Ed early next
month. The folio is ten pages (pretty much the norm, I reckon), and
it's chock full of Des's hilarious, yet brutal, rants. Remember the
three that were posted online some time ago? Well, this folio
contains all nine of them, and it is not recommended for the thin-
skinned or easily offended. This folio is also Des's last bit of
anthropomorphic artwork (outside of "By the Tail", which currently
has a backlog of stuff already done for it). Some folks may have
noticed she doesn't get online or participate in the groups anymore;
she made a note of this on a recent update column on her site. Quite
simply, I think she's decided to move on since she disagrees (rather
strongly, I might add) with the direction the "furry fandom" is
heading.
There are a few other pictures we've worked on together (mainly,
the joke Skunkworks pictures), that will be assembled into a folio as
well before the end of the year. I hope to have my first 100% new
folio out by early next year. I will, of course, keep folks updated
about that and will likely post some pics here.
As soon as I can get my other computer networked and online, I'll
post the cover from "Survival". It should also be noted the folio
will be printed on heavy bright-white paper, so any people who were
complaining about the "anti-copy" paper won't have to vent
anymore. ;)
