Funny. I thought the biggest thing about the furry fandom is that we
are furry fans, just like almost everybody out there could be, but
isn't. Kinda like sports fans like sports much more than the average
person, furry fans like anthro animals much more than the average person.

Haven't met many fur fans who think it's unique. Just a lot who think
it's oft-abused (which is true) and not very mainstream (which, as an
official fandom, is true. Use of furry characters is common though.)
