It just have becomed hard for anyone to make money because the marketing model
is just broken and they didn't care to find a solution for it.

If it is true that just the sole product of an artist (Drawing, paint, music,
movies, etc...) might be the sole reason to acquire it, in the Real World,
that isn't anylonger true.

Ok, may the copying the work of someone without his permission be stealing and
a copyright issue, but for most of the people that isn't that clear, cause
they just 'found it for free', and just more because they found that 'Is just
no difference between have the physical version than the digital one'.

If it is true that having the real one in your hands is pretty much more than
just have a digital copy, the problem starts when almost all the 'purchased
attributes' can be transfered to a digital media.

That is what actually is happening to the music industry, cause people found
that they usually only pay for the music (usually mediocre or just wanting
one or two tracks from an actual CD) and the product has not an 'added value'
(that things that should make the product more valuable and desirable to
acquire) worth their money... so, they just opt for downloading it.

The keyword here is just 'added value', something extra in the original
products that can't be transfered to a digital medium, something that might
force them to purchase the product if they do want it... and it doesn't just
apply to the music, it also applies to the Furry Art... because it is a
Marketing strategy.

That is the hint, to offer a bit more than just a piece of physical product,
because the costumers always want more.
