seriously I've been pending membership for a month now, it keeps
failing after hitting the 2 week mark, how on earth do I get in if no
one even responds?

Greetings Sarah,

Sorry to report the group was not well run when it was manned and from what I heard it was abandoned by its operators well over a year ago. Des does not visit the group and it was not featuring anything that had not been featured here. I dropped my membership from the group as nothing useful ever seemed to come through there. Some members here were also members there; anyone still current? Anything there of interest?

Let's face it; if the artist doesn't visit the group, it soon dies. This is what happened with gNAW's groups; he's working for pay sites these days (and why shouldn't he be paid for his art), so doesn't visit the group. Subsequently traffic is low and new uploads died out ages ago. So starting another group dedicated to gNAW, or any other artist who doesn't visit is a waste of effort. I think that is part of the reason Shawntae (of Extinctioners fame) has groups that don't do as well as others - his attention is spread between several groups and it just isn't possible to keep them all whirring with the time available. If they were consolidated, considering the number of characters he has, there is a fair chance traffic would be similar to this group.

Simply put; don't hold your hopes, that Des Lee group has been abandoned.
