Protip: switch to gmail. The interface there makes it very easy to
label your emails, and also threads emails from mailing lists (like
this one) so you can skip the really-really long out of date threads
that you didn't really care about in the first place.

You also get 7 gigs of space for free.

I also highly recommend spending some time organizing your email, and
actually unsubscribing from mailing lists that you don't really seem
to care about anyways.
