What's up, all?
I'm going to go ahead with the OT stuff first, then on to the real
news. Firstly, I've recently started my application for the Air Force
Academy. I couldn't do so in high school because I wanted to get some
more science and math classes to better prepare myself. However, I
won't be able to get in the next school year, however, I am looking
forward to the 2010-2011 school year. Another year of college, yes,
but I will have more time then... maybe.
Secondly, I haven't had much time lately to render up some new
drawings. I have had time to type stories, since I carry my laptop
everywhere and have some free time during classes and lectures. I
have thought about using that free time drawing, but the professor,
along my fellow peers, would get distracted from what they are doing,
wondering why I am drawing skunks fingering each other. Some may be
aroused. Maybe even the professor, which I'm trying to avoid.
How am I so busy? Well, I have classes, which takes up seven hours of
the day. Then, I go to my Air Force ROTC classes (yes, I'm in ROTC as
of right now), which ends around 1730. After, I go right to work at
an Italian restaurant (I'm an expediter, for those of you wondering).
I usually work from 1800 to about 2100, depending on the flow of
business. I go home, and then do some homework, which I finish in,
usually, two hours. Most times, I go ahead and do a little sketching
for an hour before going off to bed. Most times, though, I just go
right to bed because who isn't exhausted after a day like that?
That's the reason why I go ahead and throw all these drawings and
pictures at you around the weekend and days off, etc.
I am awaiting Spring Break though (March 9th!). Then, will I be
spending my time drawing... and studying for some ROTC tests. Until
then, you'll have to wait for the end of the weekends for drawings.
And that's the end of my OT section.
========================================
Now, on to the real deal. I have found the time to go ahead and get
GIMP started up and colorize my B&W skethes. I did a crappy job,
since I was trying to do these in little time (only had the weekend),
but it gives you the picture nontheless. Colored and resized to album
standards. I did promie colored pics, and I did. You may also notice
the Valentines Day Pt. II has a different quality than the others.
That's because I have started a new process. Sketch, ink (without
filling it), and then modify it with GIMP. Filling the black areas
with ink always made the quality different. I also got rid of the
background noise that the pictures had, so they look alot more
clearer.
More pictures on the way all. Soon. Here's a sneak peek of my next
sketch: it involves my Ninja (motorcycle). I will keep you all posted.
Peace.
