Thanks. I've got 7 pictures total, showing all 9 members in
various stages of ass-kickery, and I think I'll post one every other
day. They're just roughs, not as detailed as my usual pencil
drawings, and certainly nowhere near as clean as the finished
artwork, but I figure they'll at least let folks get a look at how
the characters will be looking. Not to mention the changes to the
style of the stories.

To date, I've got 4 stories written, with each story breaking down
into 3 issues. I figure 3 issues a year would mean I'd only have to
complete 7 pages per month, which is something I feel I could do
even with my current workload and life in general.

The stories run the gamut from science fiction to action to horror
and a few other things in-between. The artwork is all being done in
greyscale (like watching a B&W movie), and I'm taking care to
include such noticeable features as how different characters may
walk or stand (depending upon their breed), various fighting
responses and abilities (for example, wolverines are prone to
fighting on their backs, cats are excellent jumpers, etcetera). I
figured whatever traits work for a four-legged critter would also
likely work for their two-legged counterpart.

And yeah, the characters are definitely much more "gritty" and
harder than they were in the original comics I published years ago.
Some of the stories have a decidedly dark tone. There's still some
comedy and drama and stuff like that, but the new format and stories
will better reflect on the individual characters, their interactions
with one another and whatever situations they face, as well as
giving a real good look at the world they live in (which really
isn't as close to ours as we'd like to think).

Should be some good stuff. Next picture up will be Veronika. And
speaking of bats, I need to finish my Echo picture for BTT. I
missed February's update and I'm probably gonna be a couple days
behind with March, but I hope to have it done within the next 4-5
days.

Then I've got stuff to print up, and a shitload of stuff to ship
out, including some old commissions (gotta find their addresses in
my inbox to make sure they haven't moved!) and whatnot.

In the meantime, keep breathing!
