Freedom55 was one of the earlier "invest for early retirement" products. They
are best remembered for their ad campaign which focused around someone in
their 20s or early 30s either being visited by, or popping forward to visit,
themselves after having been able to retire at 55.
The ads had the future self talking about the things he/she was doing with all
the time and financial security afforded by having contacted Freedom55. Each
ad ended with a parting line that left the young version doing some kind
of "wait, what?"
Having done a bit of checking, I can see why you didn't run into the ads:
London Life is a Canadian company, while it might advertise in Florida they
aren't going to focus on their pre-retirement products.
