According to some sources, Conficker virus was set to "Call Home" the April
1st.

What to do? ... well, more like to get orders and download a new -enhanced-
version of itself.

Doomsday? ... no, at least not yet.

I bet that the creator(s) will have more interest on a zombie net rather than
killing the computers, so, they will try to do not loose the machines already
infected.

Recommendations?
If you are a Windows user, get your Windows up to date.

Of course, there also other solutions, that include to switch to either MacOSX
or Linux.

At least (for me) I have become less concerned about those odd worms, because
they do not spread that quick on Linux, and cross platform are less common.

PS: Nothing big will happen, but if you suspect of your system being infected,
scan, revise, update... and why not, do a fresh install.
