I wouldn't think so. I can ask her when she gets back later this week, if you want.
As for me, I wouldn't have any problems with it, as long as the characters are kept within character and the artist of the piece mentions the (C) info. That'd be cool.
I also wouldn't mind seeing the final drawing, either. It's always neat to see how someone else interprets a character.
