Oh, I have the means to "convince" him. After all, he has a wife and three kids, so he stands to lose a lot more if he doesn't fix the problem.

Nah, I'm just joking. His kids are okay, if loud and bothersome. I try to stay away from the whole "family unit" as much as humanly possible. Too damn annoying. Going to his house is an opportunity to exercise your vocal chords, since everyone talks at the same goddamn time and there's NEVER a quiet moment. They've also got one of those little yapping dogs that practically screams a shrill wail whenever someone comes over to their house.
