Actually, the illegality only applies if you are "trading under" the
trademarks in question. The key, which some groups are using to sell in
volumes probably far larger than you are looking at here, is that what you
are selling is a disk of artwork by Des that happens to be parodies rather
than a disk of parodies that happen to be by Des.

That they are parodies gives you another layer of protection, and depending on
the characters involved there might not be any problem at all, (one of the
ways of losing a trademark is to stop using it).
