I just uploaded a sketch I had drawn of Penance at the park. It's pretty rough, but it'll give you an idea of the picture at any rate. I'd actually had this image pop into my head a few nights ago, but it was kinda like watching a movie. I rarely get anything like that popping into my head, so it was actually pretty cool. Most of the time, I don't remember the stuff that pops into my brain at night.
Anyway, in the brief scene in my head, it was a shot of a loacl park in the daytime. Birds singing, people walking around, shit like that. Penance is sitting by herself on a bench watching something off to the side. It was a long shot, like the camera was located 75 feet away from her. In the foreground, but off-camera, were two women talking (whispering). One says, "Do you see that over there on the park bench?" The other says, "Yeah?" And the first woman says, "I tell you, I think there's something wrong with that little girl." And as she says that, Penance slowly turns her head and stares right at the camera with those bright silver eyes, still smiling.
Shit sent a chill up my fucking spine, it was so cool. So I quickly drew it out so I wouldn't forget it.
Just thought I'd share a little "behind-the-scenes" info with you...
