Thanks Claw - I was surprised how rusty my drawing skills are - three months of not doing drawing can really trash the hand skills. :-( But I think I know the solution - Catgirl Romanova gave me the okay to ink, colour and repost anything she posts here, so I guess I should ink a few more of her pics - practise, does indeed bring the result closer to perfect.
Look at how much Jim draws - heaps. Doing mainstream art all the time keeps his skills honed. So when he wants to recreational draw, he's in touch with the medium. I, on the other hand, need to usually ink a picture once to get the hand moving, then repeat the inking to get a vaguely decent result. Must love light boxes - you can ink over a sketch as many times as you have ink and paper.

Well, you may say it's badly inked. As I see it, it's not that bad. Could use some work, but still good. One of her eyes is a bit off and her hands could use some work, but that's the only real flaws I can spot.
