  Well, they are rather small (except for bears, dragons, horses, etcetera). Even the versions of them that I'm drawing for the site retain their cartoonish dimensions. I think if I drew them realistically, people may either be turned off by them, or simply not recognize them.

  I'm assuming you're referring to the cast of "By The Tail", and not "Skunkworks" or "Caterwaul", right? There were originally human cast members in BTT, but when Des redid the comic, she tossed out the humans. The rating of the comic also took a sharp dive into "X" territory after her rejuvenation. I do not think there are any humans, anywhere, in the BTT world.

  As for Skunkworks or Caterwaul, there aren't any humans, but that's merely because they got wiped out by the numerous predatory anthros on that planet thousands of years ago. If a human were to suddenly appear there, my guess would be the person would be captured, quarantined and possibly used for scientific study. Not the friendly kind, either. Of course, the human could be stupid and try to put up a fight, but that would end quickly and quite horrifically.
