--It's sort of the same thing I said earlier about certain things characters might change their Good or Bad persona based on experiences so great, that it'll CHANGE a part or parts of them to being different than what they were before; whether on a Emotional or an Allegiance stand point.

As far as what you said based on the readers P.O.V., -Point of View- the thing is, Utimately, you have to make the story and the characters will so great despite those changes, that the ones reading the story will have no choice but to make it believable; and it has to be done to the bone, without skipping on the details as to why not for the character, otherwise.

-And even if it doesn't involve the change, still, give out the correct reasons and decisions in making it that way for that character to stay the way he is-

All in all, it's about not only keeping in character and moving the story along with the plot, but making it unique and genuine to where the audience can relate to them and the story itself, while not throwing them off context with it.

If you know the Formula for Casting/Story/Plot and Motion for your Cast; you're practicly good to go in getting anyone's attention.
