I agree. The best thing we can do about the "freaks" in the fandom is to do what is effective against all other forms of Internet trolls; ignore them and simply produce the art we like. That said, let's move on.

Translation: Your mind is made up, don't bother you with facts.
The reality is that the fandom _ISN'T_ being overrun. The reality is that the
relative levels are going _DOWN_.
Perhaps you should actually take some time to look at the way things really
are, rather than just looking for things to be offended by.
(And don't bitch about mildly insulting conditionals when you've already
pulled the stock morality warrior bit of slamming anyone who doesn't want to
join the crusade.)
