In all likelyhood, clothing as we know it wouldn't exist, because it would really be necessary. Us poor naked apes need clothing to protect us from the environment, both hot and cold, and things that would harm our thin, pink skin.
To creatures with thick fur, they wouldn't need clothing for warmth as much and even a short coat of fur is great protection against the average bumps and scrapes from moving around the wild.
Their pawpads would be naturally thick so shoes and boots wouldn't be as valuable to them as they are to us, and I would imagine that since most canids and felines have issues dissipating heat (through panting, or sweating through very limited areas) they wouldn't want to wear anything that would trap heat against their bodies.
That being so, I would imagine that most clothing would be very lose fitting - scarfs, togas/tunics, sarape, etc.

fur tight clothing would either be something that is rolled on, sprayed on, or shrinks on, and it would either smooth the fur down on its own once it's on or there would be a device that would smooth the fur down.
of course this is all very futuristic and high tech. with today's technology, even if you could get it on right, the fur under could bunch up as you wear it, hence the need for technology to correct that little problem.
