This group is fairly drama-free. It's rather tightly moderated, which is necessary to prevent things from getting out of hand. Since the members are all adults here, it is expected they will behave in an appropriate adult manner.

I would imagine a lot of the drama and bullshit prevalent in the fandom today stems from the incoming masses of teenagers and college kids, as well as the socially-awkward net addicts. Let's face it, most "adults" don't begin acting like adults until they are at or near the 30-year-old mark.

Personally, I minimize my interactions nowadays. Time is too limited for me to cavort around the internet and participate in forums and post on image boards. Likewise, I don't collect or follow any other artists' works online, so I wouldn't have any reason to go to such communities. Hell, I only use FA as an extension of this group. I bet I haven't spent five minutes looking at other artwork on that site. I just don't have the time, nor do I really have the interest. I draw this sort of material, but I don't surround myself with it. Those who do risk hyper-focusing on only certain aspects, which can limit their scope and abilities.

But this particular group is fairly drama-free. If a little flame war starts up, rest assured it will be stopped quickly. It's a rather quiet group sometimes, but the folks on here seem respectful to one another and generally stay on topic.
