Chapter 4: Shudder in the Darkness
"Aww Crap" Dazed as I look around and take in the surrounding. "Ok." Exclaimed Claw. "I'm going to be on a hunt, and for the few hours that we are going to be here i'm gonna give you a job" Holding up a Warrant paper of a Scarred Wolverine Named Crohn De'Monte featuring a one and many zeros trailing. Questioning his abilities with a raised eyebrow. "And you think you can take this guy? he probably got a army of thugs?" Claw
walks back into the Ship and turns around saying "I've Handled worse".
Claw and I Walk back to the Cockpit of the Vessel
"Well?" i ask. Claw turns to me and points to a corridor saying "Take the elevator down the hall and to the right. and pick out a weapon from storage" I look over at the corridor and back at Claw then over to the Asar sitting in the passanger seat admiring the buttons. "Meh! i'll go" i make my way to the elevator and hit the button that Read Storage The gears turned and the machine lurched down. then upon seeing the Numbers go down i hear a grunting noise coming from the roof of the machine. Boom! the sound of twisting metal than in a snap the lights go"CraAAaap!" *Shoom* the Elevator Plummets down the shoot. and i black out.
Meanwhile in the Cockpit Claw communicates with what Little information he could pull out of her and concludes her name being R'khana he than hears the sounds of the elevator plummeting. Claw rushes toward the elevator and taking quick action Jams his Sword into the elevator door and jimmies it open. looking down the shaft He yells "Miguel" and hears nothing but the wails of metal bending. Grabbing R'khana and letting her hold onto his back. he rushes through the shoot and narrowly misses the Ladder to climb down from.
I awaken to the sounds of grumbling and the pulsing flashes of the safety lights in the elevator. I then spy a Eye looking at me from the top of the roof I stand there in terror of the reptilian eye and then it hastily moves away. Surviving the crash with a bruised and sore knee I begin looking around and see the words "Safety/First Aid" scrapped horribly off and find nothing more than a Crowbar and some bandages. mocking what i discover "What am i Mcguvre" using the crowbar i Jimmie the door open and slightly bending the crowbar in the process, i wrap the bandages around my leg swiftly to lighten the pain.
The lights are dim but i can make out that i'm in the storage area. I make my way to the boxes in the room and pull out a shotgun it was light and looked like a MAG-7 with full clip. , and then pull out a taser. I then freeze, Hearing a snickering growl behind me. i make a small movement with my shoulders and suddenly get thrown across the room. getting up i pull out the crowbar and prepare to defend myself. turning i see a glimpse of its spiked tail making a corner. "You're playing with me" i yell. and then i hear Claw making his way down the shaft "I'm on my way, R'khana is freaking out". i talk to myself "who's R'khana?" at that instance i get tackled and feel a splitting pain to the back of my head as i'm held up, my feet inches from the ground "I can't die... maybe maim me" and glance down seeing a rusty brown face of a enraged Khet. "I'm Fucked"
And as that happens i hear foots steps R'khana appears, the khets eyes race between me and her, and then *thud* i'm thrown on the floor hard. i look over and watch as they communicate and i not even understanding a damn word or phrase. and then i get tackled again by R'khana and in the rush embrace her and glare back at the khet. i stand up slowly as to not show that i'm not a threat. and make my way back to the elevator
while picking up the weapons. i see Claw pushing the damaged elevator door. Who looks at me puzzled "what happened in there". chuckling i respond "Something.. Ouch! something, for now i got a headache".
Claw and I make our way back up to the primary level with R'khana and her friend following close behind. "How'd you find out her name." Looking at me he says smiling at me "I asked." i sigh. "ask for her name then" he goes off and then comes back casualy saying "So'ana." looking at them as R'khana plays with So'ana's tail, So'ana then glares at me. i flick my tounge at her and turn to Claw "So'ana and R'khana.. Heh funny"
