There's a huge skunk in the neighborhood but I generally only smell musk after one has been hit by a car, which tends to be extra foul. Then there's skunk cabbage but it's not even a fraction as nasty as real skunk musk.
I've never been close to a skunk making an actual shot. They normally warn and stomp quite a bit before they actually let go. It's such a unique scent though so I don't think you can really make a meaningful comparison. You have to smell it yourself.
