Because this fandom has probably never thought of that, only what they want it to be.  Sex may be regulated by scent and the heat cycle ( and maybe by species only not the intermixing we see so often)but on a higher level we probably wouldn't understand.  Yes we'd like for there to be a positive, but the negative may be what's waiting for us.

Why do I get the idea that if there really were a world of furries, we humans might find them disappointing? Like sex isn't such a big part of their lives after all?
